Blow Molded HDPE Jerry Can
A national blow molder of plastic jerry cans experienced prolonged down‐times during color changes. The machine, a 500 ton Fisher, extruded a shot size (including flash) of five pounds of HDPE. Vitropurge® 50:50 concentrate in LLDPE shortened the usual blue to white color change time from eight (8) hours to less than four (4).
